The pro Black on Black Attack

Prejudice disguised as Afrocentrism is becoming an epidemic. It’s hilarious to me to watch as supposedly conscious people attack sistas for being light skinned and/ or wearing weaves and black folks for daring to date outside their race. Are there conversations worth having in those arenas? Sure. But a persons comprehension of the struggle, commitment to the advancement of the diaspora, and ‘blackness’ should not be judged by their hair texture, complexion or who they share a bed with. And this is coming from a brown skinned woman who has rocked her natural hair all her life with a Black (arguably Spanish looking lol) fiancĂ©, and two brown babies on opposite ends of the complexion spectrum. Yall need to wake up and smell the century old divisiveness.
